On September 19, 2022, the school of the “Alta Formazione Professionale” in Villazzano, Trento, achieved the WELL Health&Safety certification. The institute of Villazzano is the first school in Italy to obtain this prestigious certification.
This goal was achieved thanks to the joint effort and the will of the Province of Trento, the owner of the property, the manager of the institute and, above all, due to the reporting work for all the different “features” performed by the students themselves.
The International Well Building Institute (IWBI) developed the WELL Health&Safety protocol in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal of this protocol is to provide a useful tool to designers, owners and property managers, helping them in the implementation of strategies and solutions to create healthy and safe spaces for employees, students and building users.
The ENAIP of Villazzano obtains the certification with the approval of all the 17 pursued strategies, equally distributed in the 5 categories in which is organized the protocol.
The certification is renewed every year and the display of the WELL Health&Safety plaque at the main entrance is a guarantee of a building in line with the best safety and health practices.
