ON-SITE TESTING AND THIRD-PARTY VERIFICATION<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

We conduct on-site tests for the performance verification of in-use buildings, in particular lighting, air quality, water quality, thermal comfort, acoustics, and Blower Door tests. Since 2016 we have operated at the European Level as LEED for Homes Green Rater, the LEED certification in the residential sector, and since 2023 we have been recognized as LEED Residential Provider<\/a>. Energy modelling is an evaluation tool that allows to estimate the energy consumption of the building, CO2<\/sub>emissions, peak demand, energy costs and renewable energy production. The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method is an objective procedure for evaluating the energy and environmental loads relating to a product, process or activity. Blower Door air tightness testing according to ASTM E779 and ISO 9972 standards with Blower Door equipment and TECTITE Express software.
\nThe Blower Door is a test to verify the air exchange flow of the building envelope. It is used in both new construction and renovations and allows for field verification of the building\u2019s construction quality.
\n<\/strong>The Blower Door is performed qualitatively at an advanced stage of the construction site \u2013 advanced rough, with the aim of searching for possible air leakage of the envelope. Once the test is started, the search for leaks is done with an anemometer or alternatively with the use of smoke. Performing the test at this stage allows for cost-effective action to remediate any non-compliance.
\nWhen the building is completed, the Blower Door allows the air leakage of the building envelope to be detected and the air exchange rate to be evaluated through the ACH50 value (Air Changes per Hour at 50 Pa). The ACH50 value is achieved as the average of the pressure and depression test and provides quantification of the exact energy losses due to uncontrolled room ventilation.
