The\u00a0LEED for Residential<\/a>\u00a0certification, promoted by USGBC and\u00a0aimed\u00a0specifically\u00a0at\u00a0the residential\u00a0market,\u00a0allows\u00a0to achieve and guarantee high levels of environmental sustainability and indoor well-being\u00a0in\u00a0our homes.<\/p>\n

Through a careful design, LEED certified homes can be built without additional costs compared to traditional buildings and guarantee an improvement in the quality of life and\u00a0occupant\u00a0comfort. LEED certified buildings also have\u00a0greater market appeal, which\u00a0results in\u00a0higher prices and faster sales\/rental.<\/p>\n

The LEED for Residential protocol differs from other LEED rating systems\u00a0due to the low registration and certification\u00a0costs\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0simplified certification process thanks to the introduction of\u00a0the\u00a0in-the field\u00a0verifier:\u00a0the LEED for Homes Green Rater.<\/p>\n

The LEED for Homes Green Rater is a professional\u00a0accredited\u00a0through\u00a0a training\u00a0process, who\u00a0liaises\u00a0with the design and construction team and\u00a0interfaces\u00a0with the American verification body GBCI, providing the necessary documentation and\u00a0evidence of\u00a0on-site\u00a0verification.<\/p>\n

Macro Design Studio has believed and invested in the LEED\u00a0protocol\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0residential\u00a0market\u00a0since 2016.\u00a0Macro Design Studio\u2019s\u00a0team is made up of professionals with LEED AP Homes\u00a0credentials\u00a0and\u00a0arch. Paola Moschini\u00a0currently\u00a0is\u00a0the only Italian\u00a0LEED Green Rater\u00a0<\/a>and works at European level directly for GBCI.<\/p>\n
