Macro Design Studio is proud to announce that our company has been certified as a truly women-owned business from January 2025, a milestone that reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing in women’s economic empowerment, gender equality in business, and sustainable economic growth.
Our Founder & CEO, Paola Moschini, and Partners, Giorgia Lorenzi & Luisa Tonelli, are exceptional professionals who, for over a decade, have dared to dream about the evolution of our built environment. The journey has not been easy, but we are resilient and this recognition is our fuel for growth.
In fact, our team is predominantly female and this week (8 March) we celebrate International Women’s Day – a call to action to accelerate women’s equality, break down barriers, challenge stereotypes and create an environment where all women are valued and respected!
Paola Moschini shares her vision: “Our company is the people who dedicate effort and passion, joy and intuition into their work, improving every day to offer our clients an ever better service. We guide on international sustainability certifications for the built environment. The average age of our team is 35 years old and we are over 85% female. What I have learnt in these 13 years is that a woman is strong as such and on becoming a mother acquires exceptional powers, for example, in terms of organization and time management. This awareness spills over to all levels: personal, family and professional, unleashing extraordinary inner strength.”
Bottom line, social responsibility and equity continue to be the driving force behind our daily work at Macro Design Studio – even more so as we have renewed the Just Transparency Label for the third time.
Being part of the international WEConnect network will increase our visibility in corporate supply chains and provide access to educational and mentorship opportunities with thousands of women entrepreneurs that will help us develop new skills and increase capacity.
