The Living Building Challenge Collaborative: Italy, born on last March, 11th, is one of the first created in Europe.
The purpose of the Collaborative, like trees, is to grow in many directions and to use the power of the group to spread the restorative principles of LBC by means of the knowledge of protocols, training and outreach at a local level, meetings and discussions, the development of projects consistent with the principles of restorative buildings.
Therefore, since last spring the LBCCI has been engaged in various activities:
- REGENERATION, the first 64 hours non-stop design competition entirely based on the Living Building Challenge protocol,
- presentation of LBC and LBC Collaborative: Italy, in Rovereto June 10th, 2015,
- monthly meetings open to all interested parties,
- targeted actions on the territory for the dissemination of LBC principles.
Following this path, with the confidence to extend the influence area, LBCCI is pleased to invite you to the first Living Building Challenge European Meeting, an informal happy hour meeting open to all enthusiastic and interested about LBC topics, in one of the most prestigious historical buildings in Verona. The meeting will take place soon after the opening ceremony of Greenbuild Europe & The Mediterranean, the conference dedicated to sustainable buildings at Fiera di Verona, partnered by USGBC.
