From May 6 to 8, 2026, Milan will host a new edition of GBCI Europe Circle, the annual gathering of Europe’s green building community. Designed as a unique blend of retreat and conference, the Circle creates a vibrant space where professionals, companies, and institutions connect, exchange ideas, and shape the vision for a more sustainable built environment.
This year’s theme, “Forging Resilience,” highlights the ability to adapt and regenerate in a time of rapid transformation. The event will explore how resilience intersects with sustainable finance, climate risk management, decarbonization, innovation, data, and artificial intelligence, through insights from international experts.
Since the very first edition, Macro Design Studio has supported the Circle as an active member of this community, contributing again this year to the organization of the Technical Tour @ University of Milan Campus Construction Site, together with Renco and Lendlease. The tour will provide a first-hand look at how circular solutions, climate resilience, and social value are being embedded into the new University of Milan Campus, a landmark project within the Milan Innovation District (MIND).
GBCI Europe Circle is more than an event — it is a collective journey of collaboration, reflection, and shared growth toward a more sustainable, innovative, and resilient built environment.
