After the COVID-19 pandemic, the fundamental role of buildings in supporting the health and safety of their occupants became evident. For this reason, the International Well Building Institute (IWBI) devised the WELL Health-Safety Rating protocol: a valuable tool for creating safe indoor spaces.
The various features and policies required for certification were developed with the active support of the students who attended the Higher Technical Course for Sustainable Building within the UF2 training unit.
The “Alta formazione professionale“ headquarter of Villazzano in Trento was certified with the WELL Health-Safety Rating in September 2022 and is one of the first schools in Italy to receive this certification.
