Bio Parco Sonoro is the project presented for the international competition for the requalification of Piazza Castello – Foro Buonaparte in Milan. During the development of the proposal, different strategies were taken into account to make the park more sustainable. The Living Building Challenge (LBC) protocol was considered as a metric, the most advanced sustainable standard of the world that focuses on the development of projects with a positive impact on the environment. In this contest was used, LBC Landscape & Infrastructure, the protocol specific for parks and infrastructures.
