The Green Apple Day of Service is an event promoted by U.S. Green Building Council, where parents, teachers, students, companies and local organizations celebrate the scholar buildings as inspiring, healthy and safe places. During this event Macro Design Studio collaborated with the teachers of the nursery school Peter Pan of Cavareno to organise activities for the children, such as the discovery of ancient seeds and the realization of new toys starting with recycled materials. There was also the opportunity to take part to a green tour of the building with the designers discovering the technical and sustainable solutions adopted in the school.
