The buildings Algardi 2 and Algardi 4 in Milan, built in 1915 and mechanical and architectural renovated in 2015 by Galliano and Tagliapietra’s Studio, obtained the certification BREEAM In-Use Part 1 Asset Performance level Very Good. The protocol BREEAM In-Use Part 1 is applied to existing buildings, evaluates the performance and certifies the sustainability level.
The already well performing buildings improved their features, for example, through the installation of aerators for decreasing water flow in showers, the implementation of the collection of recyclables and the connection to BMS water meters.
