The intervention is developed as an extension of an existing building located in via Ronchetto 9 in the municipality of Beregazzo con Figliaro with intended use as a nursing home and social housing community for the elderly.
The extension, made with a prefabricated wooden structure, has the plant system completely independent from the existing building. In an underground level are located the warehouses and deposits, on the ground floor there are rooms with dedicated toilets and small independent apartments for the elderly, on the first and second floors there are the rooms of the RSA.
The LEED v4 BD+C: Homes and Multifamily Lowrise certification protocol was applied to the new intervention.
