Palazzo Italia is a prestigious office building designed by architect Luigi Mattioni in 1953 in the centre of the EUR district in Rome. The refurbishment project, with the improvement of energy efficiency of the building envelope and the re-organization of the interior office spaces, aims to obtain the sustainability certification LEED for Core & Shell 2009. Macro Design Studio is the LEED consultant of CON.FA.RO, the construction company that made the strip out of the 18 storeys of the building.
