Rick Fedrizzi, president of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) will visit today at 11 AM o’clock guided by Paola Moschini the primary school of Romarzollo-Arco, to launch a preview of the 27th Sep World Day dedicated to ‘sustainable’ schools  The Green Apple Day of Service. The Green Apple Day of Service, which will take place all over the world on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, gives parents, teachers, students, companies and local organizations the opportunity to transform all schools into healthy, safe and productive learning environments through local service projects. This project is an idea of Rachel Gutter, Executive Director at The Center for Green Schools at the U.S. Green Building Council, that is making sure every student has the opportunity to attend a green school within this generation. The Center works directly with staff, teachers, faculty, students, ambassadors, elected officials and communities to drive the transformation of all schools into sustainable places to live and learn, work and play.
