LEED certified buildings also have greater market appeal, which results in higher prices and faster sales/rental.
The LEED for Residential protocol differs from other LEED rating systems due to the low registration and certification costs and the simplified certification process thanks to the introduction of the in-the field verifier: the LEED for Homes Green Rater.
The LEED for Homes Green Rater is a professional accredited through a training process, who liaises with the design and construction team and interfaces with the American verification body GBCI, providing the necessary documentation and evidence of on-site verification.

Paola Moschini currently is the only Italian LEED Green Rater and works at European level directly for GBCI.
